Moving to a new location and starting life anew can be a bit nerve wrecking when it takes a big life style change. New people, new climate, new routine…
We feel lucky we made friends with a group of fun-loving, open-minded and warm-hearted people who welcomed us with open arms from the very start. It helped us settle into this new place with relative ease. But still, living an entire year to be able to say we made it through is our biggest relief. So that feels good!
Brian got to help catch a bore. It was a little bore but it was still a bit of a struggle. Imagine catching a big one in the future.

Gutting it for the first time.

Our son wanted to help. Good job!

For our first year anniversary everyone helped make something for the occasion.

We grilled bore meat and enjoyed it. Who would have imagined a year ago or before that.. that we would be eating wild bore meat for our meal. Nice to know we are all adjusting to our new life so far. Good job everyone!
