Cold winter is fast approaching but we are definitely not ready… no heating system is in place nor source of fuel secured and starting to get a bit worried…
Oh well winter does not wait for us so let’s get to work!
Luckily our boys are bored in the countryside and are always looking for things to do. They are more than enthusiastic and excited about chopping woods with sharp tools.
Sometimes I have to tell them to stop…
I never knew splitting wood was a popular activity amongst children. They were fighting over it.
Even our daughter who usually shows little interests seems to be enjoying. This must be meditative.
Warmth is a result of our hard work! The winter has just begun. We have to keep chopping and splitting to stay warm.
